At Anima Sana Wellness, our motto is “Healthy Spirit. Healthy Mind. Healthy Body.” After all, the term anima sana means healthy spirit. The concept for Anima Sana came from the idea that holistic medicine heals the mind, body, and soul. The fact is, we are not just bodies without a soul. Our soul, or rather our spirit- animates our whole life experience, and what we chose to do with that experience influences how we perceive our health status.

Our goal is to collaborate with you on your unique health journey, holistically.  At Anima Sana Wellness, we cannot and do not ignore the complexities of our spiritual and mental wellbeing on along the healing journey. Our approach to wellness and healing is multifactorial, addressing the spiritual, mental, and physical environment. You are not just a statistic, you are not just a number, you matter.

Meet Justyna

I’m Justyna, Nurse Practitioner and founder of Anima Sana Wellness.

A little about me:

I am a proud Polish and American citizen. I am also a Master’s prepared nurse (MSN) and a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, with clinical and educational training in functional and integrative medicine. I have also completed educational training on other modalities such as nurse coaching and  yoga teacher training.

I’m passionate about helping others feel empowered in their health journey because I am right there with you—I myself have been dealing with chronic health issues from an early age. I realized early on in my education that conventional medicine often masks symptoms rather than addressing the root cause. Too many times I have heard patients and clients say they feel they are not being listened to by their medical professionals. This saddens me to my core. I believe we are partners who collaborate on the same goals—I meet you where you are on this journey.
